WOW

Wow been forever since I posted... To many things going on I guess.
I was on video chat with my wife and kids the other night and my 5 year old William was talking with me. ( ihad my screen split I was playing video poker(free of course) while video chatting with him. He was going on and on and on. Now most would say that was rude but from my side of things it wasn't. You have to understand that I have 2 non-verbal kids (david and  Benjamin) the third William is speech delayed. So as I am grateful that he does talk I couldn't understand a single thing he was telling me and laughing about. So i did what any good father would. I laughed along with him and said the normal stuff you say to a 5 year old. "oh really", "wow thats kewl" I will say this what ever he was saying he was proud and happy about it. To me that is what really matters to him. That I acknowledged him and laughed with him, Whether I got what he was talking about or not; it was the fact that he was able to (in his mind) convey what he wanted to, to me. I told my wife that even if I can't understand what he is saying I am at least listening and that is what he needs right now. (note: yes even though according to women who say men can't multi task, we actually can. We just choose to not want to multi-task at the moment you need us to multi-task so get over it :)   )

Life has been crazy these last few weeks. Getting ready for an inspection to just trying to sleep. Have you ever noticed that the ones who accomplish all the work always seem to have the ability to show and prove what one should be doing according to regulations versus what your supervision is telling you to do.
